Kristin Lash & Jakob Grey / Comin‘ Home

The music duo of Kristin Lash & Jakob Grey is clearly enriching the Slovak music scene with its modern take on pop soul of world quality. According to the duo, Comin’ Home is about losing people that have been part of their lives for a very long time.

Whithe / Remnants

We had to wait for this new record by the young producer for over a year, with Whithe teasing us every now and then with a fragment of a track or two. New EP Remnants is a mix of techno, ambient with bits of future garage influence.

Fokular / Narrative

First ever solo release by the drummer of Slovak doom legend Möbius. The fact it was released on Weltschmerzen label – the home of Tittingur – suggests you can expect some heavy stuff. Fokular assumes the role of a solo producer to fill us with common feelings of despair, raises questions of belonging, and provides us a space to contemplate and observe. Existentialism in music at its best.

Raptor Koch / Navar mi bejbe

This hidden gem from Eastern Slovakia has (again) managed to create a smash hit, not just for the Van Halen fans!

Waterbased / Flamed

New talent on the Slovak music scene comes with a captivating video to her new single Flamed. The song covers not the easiest experiences in one’s life: “It’s about broken relationships with role models throughout childhood that decrease the chances of creating a positive self-image, healthy self-esteem and ability to develop healthy relationships.“

Rakovicky / False lights

It is just a month since Marek Rakovicky and Oliver Fillner released the video for Hot Days Like These and here they are with a brand new track False Lights. This time also with a special guest D-Fly!

Hands of Maples / Swarm

Ambient noise-rock band Hands of Maples founded by Renat Khallo the former guitarist of 52 Hertz Whale and Dominik Novák of The Blackwood Incident has just released another meditative gem. Something for long winter nights in lockdown.

Emonoizboyz / Love High

DJs and producers Emonoizboyz are back with a brand new track Love High in which they bring something new and unexpected again. After their early-90s-rave-music scene inspired single Forget, in Love High they mix elements of psychedelic rock with classic hip hop samples.

Vi3e / Lockdown

UK garage, bassline, drill with drum & bass, that’s what you find on the new Lockdown EP by electronic producer VI3E. The record is full of collaborations of Slovak and Czech MC’s.
